Bolj ali manj pomembne Twilight novice preteklih dni:

1. Intervju s Petrom Facinellinjem (Dr. Carlisle Cullen) – Crepusculo-es.com

1. For how long have you been an actor? Did you wanted to be that since
you were a kid?

I’ve been acting since College. I studies theater at New York University. Professionally I’ve been acting 14 years.

2. What’s the better thing of being an actor? And the worst?

The best thing about being an actor, is being able to explore many different lives, in one lifetime. I hate the business aspect of acting. Auditioning, getting the jobs, making the deals, to me those are the worst. I’m happiest when I’m researching the role, or in front of the camera, creating.

3. Would you like to live of that for all your live?

Yes.

4. Did your family and friends help you to become an actor since the
beginning?

I had no family or friends in the business. I was just a kid, with a dream of being able to act. I went to school, studied acting, and am now fortunate enough to do what I love.

5. Tell us who are your favorite actor and your favorite actress. Did you have the chance to meet them?

Paul Newman, and Robert Redford… I’ve never gotten a chance to meet either.

6. Describe yourself in 3 words.

I’m still trying to figure myself out. Ask me again when I’m 80.

7. Describe Carlisle en 3 words

Compassionate, refined, protective

8. Tell us your 3 favorite books (not from Stephenie Meyer :P)

Green Eggs and Ham, Where’s Waldo?, Goodnight Moon… I have three kids 🙂

9. And your favorite movies?

Bullitt, Apocalypse Now, The Godfather

10. How could you describe “twilight” the movie?

A beautiful love story, set within a Vampire tale, with some killer action.

11. When did you knew about Stephenie Meyer and her books?

I read Twilight in one day, the day before I met the director Catherine Hardwicke, and read for the role of Carlisle. I fell in love with the story.

12. How was the casting for Carlisle’s role? What did you have to do?

I met Catherine, and read some scenes from the movie. Catherine, read some of the other roles and was very active in the audition, I could see how passionate she was about the story.

13. What did you think when they told your agent you were in the project?

Originally, they had offered the role to another actor, who did not work out. So I was very surprised, and excited to hear that it came my way.

14. Which one is your favorite character in the book? (male/female)

Edward is such a tortured soul in the book, that I find his character very intriguing.

15. And your favorite book (Twilight, New moon, Eclipse…)?

It sounds like a cop out, but I really enjoyed all three. Each explored different things so it is hard to compare. If I had to choose I would say Eclipse, because I like how the werewolves and Cullens team together.

16. What’s the best thing of playing Carlisle’s role? And the worst?

The best part of playing Carlisle is feeling like the head of this amazing family, with all different personalities. The worst, for Carlisle, is probably the responsibility of keeping the family together and hoping everyone is happy.

17. Did you imagine yourself like Carlisle when you were reading the book?

Yes.

18. How are the opinions of the fans about you doing Carlisle’s role?

In the beginning there were a lot of mixed opinions, but I’ve felt an amazing amount of fan support since then, and hope I can win over those, who still can’t see it. At the end of the day, everyone who has read the book, has their own version of Carlisle in their mind, and it is impossible to fit everyone’s version of Carlisle. But I hope that
they come to the movie open to new interpretations of the characters.

19. What would you say to all the fans?

Thank you all so much for the amazing support you have shown, not only towards me, but all of the cast. And I really hope you enjoy the movie, and help make it successful so we can make more for you guys to watch.

20. Have you notice that now your face is all over the Twilight-sites? How is that?

No. I haven’t been able to surf, many of the sites as of late, as we’ve been busy shooting.

21. How are the other actors? How is working with them? You’re like their father, aren’t you? LOL

We all get along very well. Yes, I’m their father. They like teasing me and calling me, dad, or pops…

22. Can you tell us something funny that happened while you were shooting?

I think its funny that we can’t shoot in the sun. When the sun comes out we have to wait for clouds. Usually in movies it’s reverse. You want sun, and when clouds come you have to wait for the clouds to go away.

23. If you could choose, what would you be: Vampire or werewolf?… or human?

I’m a little biased, but I’d have to say VAMPIRE.

24. What do you think about Carlisle being 23 years old, married and with 3 sons and 2 daughters? Are you prepared for the role?

I’m married and have three children, so I feel very prepared.

25. Are you thinking about coming to Spain sometime? Have you visited Crepusculo-es. com, what do you think about the website?

I will definitely come check out the site… As far as Spain, No I’ve never been, but I’d love to come. Hopefully the movie will be successful there, and they will have us visit.

Till then,

Peter…

“Twilight” Called, or, How I Turned into a Teenage Girl

Posted by: Ryan Rotten

Not really. But I thought for sure I’d awaken one morning in a unicorn t-shirt, pig-tails and feeling a serious need to listen to some Gwen Stefani (picture that, friends!) based on everything I’ve been doing to prep for my set visit to Summit Entertainment’s Twilight. What does that entail? Sifting through countless blogs dedicated to the Stephenie Meyer book, reading the book, talking to fans, trying to understand the fans, sitting in a room, staring at a wall, not seeing the wall, looking past the wall… Ahem, well, I’m back now and all I’ve got to say is…

…this movie’s going to be huge. The producers know it. The director knows it. I’m not sure if the actors quite grasp what they’ve gotten themselves into. Dismiss it all you want, but when I arrived on set in Portland, Oregon, I was told fans were camped outside the film’s high school location the night before wrapped in blankets. Portland is colder than a witch’s tit now, so that’s some damn commitment right there. Later in the day, I fell witness to the return of said Twilight disciples. One teen male fan boasted, “I’ve read all the books…and I’m not a mom!”

I must admit to being somewhat thrilled by the fact that they were shooting a scene I recognized from the book (I’m not done with the read yet, but I will be soon). But let’s make this clear – the film is for an audience that doesn’t really include me. Look at the ingredients: Teens. Love. Vampire love. Drama. Heartbreak.

Still, I’m mildly fascinated by what makes this thing called Twilight tick – so I forge ahead with the coverage. Anyway, that’s where I’ve been the past day. I’m tired. Cold. And in a hotel room that’s bigger than most apartments I’ve seen in L.A. Seriously, this joint’s got a living room, a bedroom and bathroom. Insane.

I’ll splash some pics from the set, interviews and more on Shock’s home page soon enough.

7. Shock Till You Drop: Scenarij za film New Moon je že pripravljen in verjetno bodo film začeli snemati v začetku naslednjega leta.

Producer Talks Future of Twilight Franchise
Source:Ryan Rotten
March 28, 2008

ShockTillYouDrop.com recently ventured to the damp, nippy environs of Portland, Oregon where Catharine Hardwicke is barreling through a 45-day principal photography schedule for Twilight (blog entry), the live-action adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s novel of the same name starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

As disciples of Meyer know, Twilight is the first in a series of books – which includes “New Moon,” “Eclipse” and the forthcoming entry “Breaking Dawn” – thus opening the door to a potential cinematic franchise. But will the first film’s performance the weekend of December 12th dictate whether New Moon gets the green light? Summit Entertainment and its producers may not even wait that long to find out.

Summit CEO Rob Friedman teases us with a confident smile, “We’re talking about it.”

Twilight producer Wyck Godfrey takes that one step further with, “The goal is, we’ve got the [sequel] script ready to go and come December we want to shoot it for about the same time – for the weather and stuff we don’t want to be in the heat of the winter. Obviously, you know the next book and know we can go out into the sun a little bit more. Hopefully, we’ll have it ready to go and ready to start prepping for the beginning of next year.”

Much more to come from the set of Twilight, including pics and a candid chat with the Cullen family!

Movie filming in Kalama creates a fantasy ‘Forks’ — but shooting at LaPush will be real

By Paige Dickerson, Peninsula Daily News

LAPUSH — Filming of the upcoming teen sensation, “Twilight,” at LaPush is a month away, while most of the action is being filmed now in Kalama.

The film crew has nearly finished filming at Kalama Middle High School, which was transformed into Forks High School for the movie.

Filming at the beach in LaPush will take place on April 24, with the possibility of a couple of days of filming.

The movie is based on the best-selling series by Arizona writer Stephenie Meyer.

The series — beginning with Twilight — follows the story of 17-year-old Bella Swan who moves to Forks to live with her police chief father, Charlie Swan, when her mother remarries.

While still adjusting to the cloud-covered, rainy town, she meets and falls in love with the enigmatic and pale Edward Cullen whom she later discovers is a vampire.

The book is followed by New Moon and Eclipse. The fourth book in the series, Breaking Dawn, will be released in August.

LaPush plans
Exactly what will be filmed at LaPush is not yet clear, but in the book a central scene — in which Bella’s Quileute friend Jacob reveals that Edward is really a vampire — takes place at First Beach.

There have been hints that the movie will become a movie franchise, or series, but there has been no confirmation from the studio about that.

The transformation of Kalama Middle High School into Forks was not an extensive overhaul.

It was all in the details.

Kalama Middle School Principal Mike Hamilton said the crew added a couple of signs, used large stickers of the Forks Spartan mascot on the gym floor and made other minor tweaks for the transformation.

Many scenes in the book — how many changes are in the movie script are unknown so far — are at the high school where Edward and Bella first meet.

A hospital room set was built in the wrestling room of Kalalma High School for a key scene of the movie.

A description of the hospital room scene would give away key details of the ending of the book.

“We didn’t make a whole lot of changes aside from the sign and adding some additional green and foliage,” said Catherine Kagan, assistant site director for the film.

“The school has really been amazingly cooperative — they have really made it happen for us.”

The movie is being made by Summit Entertainment and directed by Catherine Hardwicke.

Robert Pattinson — whose claim to fame was his role as Cedric Diggory in “Harry Potter — will play the gold-eyed vampire Edward.

Kristen Stewart — who starred alongside Meg Ryan in “In the Land of Women” and was recently in “The Messengers” — will be Bella.

Jacob, the Quileute native who lives in LaPush and is Bella’s best friend, will be played by Taylor Lautner — from “The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl.”

Kalama Middle School — home to about 575 students — might see one more day of filming Hamilton said.

Students interested
Watching the filming was an interesting process both for him and his students, he said.

Particularly scenes which demand a cloudy cover in the slightly sunnier Kalama led to quick thinking on the part of the production staff, Hamilton said.

“When the sun would peek through, they would switch to a different scene or do some rehearsals until the cloud cover came back,” he said.

“The students were really excited about all this.

“It was very interesting to them, and to us, about the whole process of producing a movie.

“A lot of them I talked to had no idea how tedious filming scenes could be.

“One scene they did 24 or 25 takes, and it took them a little over four hours to shoot just that small part of the movie.”

In all, filming of the movie — which began on Feb. 25 — is expected to last a total of 50 days.

The film is expected to be ready for a Christmas season release.

Twilight: Poročila s snemanja in srečanja z igralci

In Film,Twilight on 25/03/2008 od Mateja

Snemanje filma Twilight na Kalama High School se zaključuje. Obiskovalci prizorišča snemanja pa pridno pišejo poročila.

1. poročilo (vir Twilight Lexicon):

I was fortunate enough today to see him in person, up close. My friend and I went to Kalama hoping to see any of the cast during filming today. We got to the school early this morning and were told they were doing indoor filming all day today. We were naturally disappointed but decided to stick around for a while. We were given permission by the school to see if we could find anything fun happening outside. For three hours we sat outside, in the cold and damp, watching endless take after take of some of the kids being used as extras and their coming and goings outside the school. I was getting bored and wanted to leave but my friend insisted on waiting a while longer.

In the meantime another group of fans showed up….a couple moms and their daughters and friends. We were talking to them when my friend pointed out a young man walking away from us. It was Robert!!!! He was taking a break from the filming of something they were taping in the weight room…possibly the hospital scenes. At least that’s what we were told.

After a few minutes he came back up towards us and the other group with us asked him if they could take his picture. He was shy, sweet, adorable and most accommodating to them. My friend and I were about 10 feet away, trying not to crowd him. He is absolutely gorgeous ladies!!! He spoke to them, in an American accent, for a few minutes and then went back to where he was filming.

I have to say it was more exciting to see him then I expected. I have a son older than he is, but when he walked past us I sighed like all of you young ladies would have. For all of you who doubted if he was right for this part, I have to say that without a doubt he’s going to be magnificent. He was such a gentlemen to the young girls around him. His mom would have been proud. I have pictures and will try to figure out how to post them for you. It was certainly a day to remember and worth the wait…….:)

Also, in other news, one of our members has been picked up as an extra in the upcoming biology scene. Although she is not going to be allowed to take pictures, she has promised to let us know what it’s like shooting as an extra in the biology scene to the extent that her agreement with Summit permits. We’ll get some goodies, but not anything that will spoil the film.

2. poročilo (vir Twilight Lexicon):

The excitement is winding down at Kalama High School. The crews are busy teching out. You know a movie shoot is over when people start picking up their stunt shrubbery and loading it onto trucks. Filming is now moving to new locations. We are fortunate enough to have an extra who will share her experience (to the degree allowed by her Summit contract) without spoiling the experience that is all heading to us on December 12th.

So in one last homage to the amazing Kalama shoot, we thought we’d post one last Lexiconer encounter. Thanks to Mae for sharing.

So today was the last day of filming at Kalama … and my sister and I were not about to let that go to waste. Ironically enough, we were in the area (Seattle) and my older sister was willing enough to drive us, despite the fact she’s never read the books (that will soon change!). Ain’t she great?

So we left around 10 am and arrived around 12 pm. The whole way there I had major butterflies in my stomach. When I saw that “Kalama” sign, I knew THIS WAS IT.

Kalama. What a tiny, tiny, tiny town! It’s literally two blocks long and everyone knows everyone. The high school is an elementary and middle school as well. Yes, it’s true. All the kids in the town go to the same school! Coming from a large city (Vancouver, Canada) I found that surprising and different. So we arrived there and got awesome parking! We saw that there were some Twilight fans there too and we all came together immediately. Apparently we JUST missed Robert and that REALLY bummed my sister and I out. But we didn’t loose hope. We talked to Peter, an extra on the movie. He tried out for Sam, but didn’t get it. Then we met Jeff who worked on DVD features.

We watched the crew film some shots that included some extras. That was really cool. Me and my sister were all paranoid that the security guards would be all anal, but seriously … I’ve never met so many chill professionals ever! They were there, talking to us and what not. It was a good surprise.

So we were all sitting by a log, just hanging and talking when I noticed a pale, glowing thing in the corner of my eye. I turned and there he was. Robert Pattinson. My heart literally stop and I went all bug eyed. Then finally, when my brain finally connected with the rest of my body, I grabbed my sister and just blurbed “Rob! Robert! Edward. He’s right here. Robert. Edward is there. That’s Rob!” and she was like “Whaaat!?”. Everyone was looking at me like I was crazy, because everyone’s angle had the trailers covering him. Then when he was heading inside everyone was like “Oh!! It is him!”. I knew I wasn’t crazy.

So, the waiting was fun. It was unusually sunny and warm. I wasn’t complaining though. We didn’t eat breakfast so we decided to go get some lunch with the other Twi-Hards there. Me and my sister were certain we weren’t hungry, but once we took one bite of our Subway sub … we realized how hungry we were! Then we headed back to the set.

Now this is when the magic happened.

We waited for quite awhile when Robert graced us with his presence. My other sister was the one who noticed him … and she knows NOTHING about this! So again, my heart acted in a way I’m pretty sure isn’t normal. So after taking about 10 pictures of him, it was time to wait once again. Then … he came out again. This time he was walking this way.

He looked at me and I waved. He the smiled and I asked “Hi! Can we take a picture with you?” And he was like “Sure” in his lovely British accent. Ladies, he looked AMAZING with his pale skin, auburn hair, liquid topaz eyes and plumped red lips. I always knew he’d make an amazing Edward, so this encounter just sealed the deal. For all those who doubted or are doubting him … cast your worries aside. You have a young man, whose gorgeous, has a very sweet, subtle personality and not to mention … he has class. Edward’s portrayal is in good hands.

Oh! And might I add … when my sister and I took a picture with him, he did the Edward smirk and he NAILED in. I know he did that on purpose 😉 How am I still breathing? I have no idea.
